A Foodies Guide to Miami

Aside from having beautiful beaches, expensive cars and great nightlife Miami also offers topnotch food and trendy restaurants that are guaranteed to make your tummy one happy camper!! Although I only had the privilege of being in Miami for 3 days that did not stop me from eating my body weight in food from so many different restaurants/ cafés  in the area! Here are my top 5 favorite restaurants/ cafés to visit in Miami, FL.

Café: Dreamer Juice Bar

Personal Rating: ★★★★★

Recommendation: Iced Matcha Latte and Avocado Toast

If I could eat breakfast, lunch and dinner here everyday I would! Like I mentioned before, I was only in Miami for three short days and guess how many times I stopped at Dreamer… 3 times!! If you ever find yourself in Miami do yourself a favor and stop by this beautiful, aesthetically pleasing café.

Restaurant: Mandolin Aegean Bistro

Personal Rating: ★★★★★

Recommendation: Sangria and Moussaka

If you are looking for a little slice of Greece in Miami, well here you go! Not only is the restaurant so insanely beautiful that you feel as though you’ve just landed in Santorini, but the food is just as killer! Go ahead, add this to your list of must visit restaurants!

Restaurant: The Tavern

Personal Rating: ★★★

Recommendation: Mimosa and Quinoa Salad (pictured above w/ salmon added)

The Tavern is the perfect little spot to enjoy a nice relaxing breakfast before walking across the street to South Beach for a fun day in the sun! After walking down South Beach the whole morning I was craving something refreshing and light… the Quinoa Salad with Salmon was the perfect meal!

Bar/Restaurant: Faena

Personal Rating: ★★★★

Recommendation: Hemmingway Daiquiri and Local Snapper Ceviche

A bar fit for a mermaid! If this isn’t the cutest bar you’ve ever laid eyes on then I don’t know what to tell you… because for me this has to be the most perfect bar EVER! This bar was made for relaxing with a daiquiri in hand while enjoying the nice Florida weather.

Café: OTL Miami

Personal Rating: ★★★★

Recommendation: Latte and OTL Super Seed Butter Toast

Little did I know this café was located in the heart of Miami’s Design District surrounded by iconic storefronts like Dior, Prada, Fendi, etc. Also, little did I know that Victoria Secret Angel Romee Strijd would walk into this café in the same seat as me less than an hour after I left… yes, I am crying a little inside.  I guess this just means I have to go back, so I can actually have my first celebrity encounter!

As always, thank you for reading! Make sure to share with friends 🙂

Have a lovely day,

Caitlin xoxo
